Everything is smaller in England and older. The sky is gray but the gardens are bright and colorful. There is a section in the hardware store called "ironmongery." Everyone speaks in British accents and the school children ALL wear uniforms. Everything looks very European and not at all modern (see Billy Elliot). My Aunt would do everything for me if I wasn't independent and is a bit appalled that at home we don't have a "proper" supper every night. My Uncle showed me pictures of my Mom at my age - she was beautiful.
