I see the american boy and the british boy knows I will be with him in all the ways the brit and I have been. I couldn't stand to be in either of their positions. If I were them I would say "choose" or "lets just be friends" I think. I know the situation as it is causes hurt - but I don't know a way for it not to. I don't understand why they put up with it. As my cousin said "They must really love me." And I love them too. Equally, if not more. My feelings, my loves, don't fit into societal standards, yet I and they both feel pain at what we societally ought to.
